Brunching uptown at its best!
Billy D’s Fried Chicken Sandwich: Celery seed slaw, b&b pickles, white bbq sauce, scratch made potato bun, bbq potato chips (substitute herb roasted potatoes)
We stumbled upon this not so hidden gem one Saturday morning, as we took in the sights uptown. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the menu was an assortment of brunch favorites with an upscale twist. From the crispy pork belly to the cinnamon French toast, there seemed to be something for everyone.
It was a beautiful day out, so we decided to dine outside. We were immediately greeted by a very nice server that took our drink orders and provided us with our food menus. As we sat deliberating on what to order we asked ourselves, “Why have we not been here before?” Choosing just one item on the menu seemed like the hardest part of our entire morning, but ultimately these are the items we settled on.
Haymaker Breakfast: Two scrambled eggs, Benton’s bacon, herb roasted potatoes, jalapeno biscuit
Brasstown Beef Burger: Smoked cheddar, tomato jam, pickled red onions, butter lettuce, potato bun (substitute no bun), bbq potato chips (substitute seasonal fruit); Keto Meal
Everything was delicious but the best item on the menu by far are the herb roasted potatoes. Imagine a French fry but way tastier and crispier and seasoned perfectly. We have tried to recreate these potatoes more than once and we have fallen short each time. As you can see even for the Iess adventurous palate there are plenty of crowd pleasers on the menu as well.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed Haymaker and cant wait to get back. The view is absolutely amazing and nice to see sitting on the patio. So don’t wait, definitely go check out Haymaker!
